Children's Education Classes: 
“Bible Land Adventure” classes for age 5 through fifth grade are held during the Sunday worship service (kids leave worship after the Message in a Nutshell)
Teen Group:  Our teen group is called TWIGS (Teens working in God's Service). They lead their own group with the help of Mike Dellaperute. TWIGS meet at 7:00 pm every Sunday evening in the teen room downstairs.
Music Rehearsal for Isaac's Singers: 
Wednesdays, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Groups

 Heart and Soul- Daytime small group opportunity. This group will be starting a 6 week study called Growing in Christ Together on Wednesday, January 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30. The cost of the book is $10. If you are interested, please call Pastor Myrlene at 732-232-0949.

Spiritual Direction- One of Morning Star’s “quieter” ministries is the ministry of Spiritual Direction. Candy Peterson is a Certified Spiritual Director, trained at the Upper Room Spiritual Center.

In spiritual direction, Candy helps others to reflect deeply on the experiences of their daily lives. Gradually, as they reflect, they begin to recognize and celebrate God’s presence and grace in their lives. Spiritual direction is not about being “directed.” Rather it is very much about being encouraged to draw closer to God. bullet Beginner's Bible Study: Mondays at 7:30 pm at the Ministry Center.
bulletTuesday night Bible Study: A five week study on the book of Isaiah will begin on Tuesday, January 8, from 7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m., at the Luthringer's home. For more information call the church office at 732-606-9700.
bulletThursday night Bible Study: Thursdays at 7:30 at the Ministry Center. We will be following along with the Sunday Morning Message.
bulletSaturday night Bible Study: Saturdays after worship, from 7-9 pm. The study is called "Life's Healing Choices." Includes a meal.
 The Bible — Condensed or in Detail? 

We recently found the shortest version of the Bible: It's called the Pentekon Bible (which means the Bible in 50 words).  It goes like this: 

“God made, Adam bit, Noah arked, Abraham split: Joseph ruled, Jacob fooled, bush talked, Moses balked; Pharaoh plagued, people walked, sea divided, tablets guided, promise landed. Saul freaked, David peeked, prophets warned, Jesus born.  God walked, love talked, anger crucified, hope died.  Love rose, spirit flamed, word spread, God remained.”
